MEALS INCLUDED: BREAKFAST
After breakfast, we visit the Park of 28 Guardians of Panfilov, the Cathedral of the Ascension and the Museum of National Musical Instruments. In the museum's collection there are more than 1000 objects, including rare objects from the 17th century. In total there are 60 types of national instruments: kobyz, dombra, syldyrmak (a kind of tambourine) and other national instruments.
To feel the true spirit of the city, its atmosphere, flavors and colors you have to visit the Green Bazaar.
We continue our tour through Kok-Tobe Park. It is one of the main attractions of Almaty that is located on the slopes of the mountain that bears the same name and rises 1130 meters above the city. It is a landscaped area with picturesque terraces and groves. A wonderful panorama of the mountains and the city opens up from its viewpoints. Next to the park stands a 350-meter TV tower. If you count from sea level, then this tower is one of the tallest in the world. Its picturesque location on the green Kok-Tobe hill, with the snow-capped peaks of the Ili Alatau Mountains in the background, has long been a "calling card" of Almaty. It takes only 6 minutes to get here by a cable car connecting Almaty city center and Mount Kok-Tobe (total length is 1620 m).
At the end transfer to the hotel.
