DAY 1 ASTANA

MEALS INCLUDED: 

Arrival in ASTANA, the second capital of Kazakhstan, the guide will welcome tourists with the logo of "SISO TRAVEL GROUP". Transfer to the hotel, accommodation and a short rest.

 

DAY 2 ASTANA

MEALS INCLUDED: BREAKFAST

After breakfast, we leave the hotel and start our visit of Astana, we will make the visits:

Independence Palace, where tourists see the general shot of Astana

Peace and Agreement Palace – a pyramid-shaped building, a masterpiece of the British architect Mr. Norman Foster. The Palace was built for the conferences of the leaders of the world's traditional religions and is now one of the most important sights in the city.

After lunch we will visit the central sphere called "Nur Alem". It is the central element of the complex and is the largest spherical building in the world. Its diameter is 80 meters and its height is 100 meters.

The complex is a legacy of EXPO 2017, which was held during the summer of 2017 in Astana.

Inside it talks about Kazakhstan in terms of its history, traditions, culture, and regions.

A walk along Nurzhol Boulevard and visit to the Round Square. At the end of the walk, visit Khan Shatyr, the center of commerce and leisure.

Free time at the Jan Shatyr  shopping center.

At the end transfer back to the hotel.

DAY 3 ASTANA - ALMATY

MEALS INCLUDED: BREAKFAST

After breakfast excursion to the Alzhir concentration camp (40 km from the city). The concentration camp was built in the middle of the extensive Kazakh steppe in 1938 and ceased to function in 1953, the year Stalin died. For 15 years, more than 20,000 women were taken to the countryside from different regions of the USSR. In 2007, a memorial complex was opened on the territory of the former Alzhir camp to commemorate those who have fallen under Stalin's repressions.

Alzhir was the largest concentration camp in the USSR for the wives of traitors to the motherland and their children. By visiting this place, you will learn how they lived, worked, and survived in Soviet concentration camps.

DAY 4 ALMATY

MEALS INCLUDED: BREAKFAST

Visit to Panfilov's 28 Guardians Park, Ascension Cathedral and the Museum of National Musical Instruments. More than 1000 objects are present in the museum's collection, including rare objects from the 17th century. In total there are 60 types of national instruments: kobyz, dombra, syldyrmak (a kind of tambourine) and other national instruments. Central Mosque that was built in 1999 (you can visit it inside).

To feel the true spirit of the city, its atmosphere, flavors and colors you have to visit the Green Bazaar. Participate in tasting local delicacies including mare and camel milk.

We continue our tour of Kok-Tobe Park. It is one of the main attractions of Almaty that is located on the slopes of the mountain that bears the same name and rises 1130 meters above the city. It is a landscaped area with picturesque terraces and groves. A wonderful panorama of the mountains and the city opens up from its viewpoints. Next to the park stands a 350-metre TV tower. If you count from sea level, then this tower is one of the tallest in the world. Its picturesque location on the verdant Kok-Tobe hill, with the snow-capped peaks of the Ili Alatau Mountains in the background, has long been a " calling card " of Almaty. It takes only 6 minutes to get here by a cable car connecting Almaty city center and Mount Kok-Tobe (total length is 1620 m).

DAY 5 ALMATY – CHARYN CANYON – KEGEN – KARAKOL (KYRGYZSTAN)

MEALS INCLUDED: BREAKFAST, LUNCH

After breakfast departure to the Karakol border through Charyn Canyon which reminds us of the Grand Canyon of the USA, we can take a walk, continue our journey to Karakol.

Arrival, accommodation and rest at the Hotel.

 

DAY 6 KARAKOL - DJETY OGUZ - TAMGA

MEALS INCLUDED: BREAKFAST

We start the day with a panoramic tour of the city: Dungana Mosque, one of the most attractive and attractive wooden constructions, in Karakol. The mosque was built in 1910 in classical Chinese style. The next visit is to the Orthodox Church of Holy Trinity (1876), which preserves one of the sacred Orthodox jewels – the icon of the Virgin Tikhvina. You will also visit the Museum of famous Russian traveler N.M.Prjevalskiy - explorer of the Tian Shan Mountains.

Departure to Tamga village. The route passes along the southern shore of Lake Issyk Kul.  On the way we visit the Djety Oguz canyon, known as the Ciete Toros canyon, a picturesque place that is famous for its red sandstone rock formations, coniferous forests and alpine meadows.

Hiking in the canyon and continuation of the tour. Another stop will be made to explore the canyon "Skazka" – "A fairy tale" with its Martian landscape of colorful hills and the strange shapes of canyons created over thousands of years by erosion of the earth.

DAY 7 TAMGA - BURANA - BISHKEK

MEALS INCLUDED: BREAKFAST

Departure to Bishkek

Next stop can be close with the Bokonabaevo village with the opportunity to participate in the demonstration of the formation of a golden eagle for hunting, according to the Kyrgyz tradition: meeting with "berkutchi" – hunter with golden eagle and showing of hunting with eagle. This is a unique opportunity to understand all the secrets of nomadic hunters and see the symbiosis reigning between man and animal.

On the way, you will visit the "Burana Tower" Architectural Complex, located about 75 kilometers from Bishkek. This city was established in the 10th century on top of another older settlement and was the capital of the eastern Karakhanid State in the 10th-11th centuries AD.

Arrival in Bishkek and overnight at the Hotel. Rest.

DAY 8 BISHKEK - TASHKENT ( UZBEKISTAN )

MEALS INCLUDED: BREAKFAST

City tour: Ala-Too Central Square with Manas monument, the Changing of the Guard of Honour, Lenin Statue and Duboviy Park, Pobeda or Victory Square and other places of interest. At the appropriate time departure to Bishkek airport to take flight to Tashkent.

Arrival in Tashkent, capital of Uzbekistan. The guide will welcome tourists with the logo of "SISO TRAVEL GROUP". Transfer to the hotel

DAY 9 TASHKENT

MEALS INCLUDED: BREAKFAST

The tour of the old part of the city begins: Khasti Imom Architectural Complex, including Barak Khan Madrasa, Kafal Shohi Madrasa. Visit to the Library, located in the same square and has its importance for housing the "Koran of Usman"; Kukeldash Madrasa (exterior visit), Chorsu bazaar.

City tour in Tashkent: Museum of Applied Arts, Independence Square and Eternity, this square is composed of the Monument of Independence and Humanitarianism inaugurated in 1991, the Memorial of World War II which is the statue in honor of the fallen in World War II or the Ezgulik Arch at the entrance of the Square; city fountains and modern monuments,  Amir Temur Square, Opera and Ballet Square, Terromoto Monument.Rest at the hotel.

DAY 10 TASHKENT – OYBEK – KHUJANT (TAJIKISTAN)

MEALS INCLUDED: BREAKFAST

After breakfast we will depart for the border of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan to carry out border and customs procedures. From there we continue our journey to Khujant. In the past, scientists, poets, and writers referred to Khujant as "the Crown of the World," one of the oldest cities in Central Asia. We will visit the Khodjand Fortress (VII-VIII) and its Museum of Archaeology, Mosque and Mausoleum of Sheykh Muslihiddin and the Oriental Bazaar "Payshanba". Arrival and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 11 KHUJANT – ISTARAVSHAN – DUSHANBE

MEALS INCLUDED: BREAKFAST

After breakfast we will depart for Dushanbe. On the way we will visit the city of Istaravshan, also called the museum city of the book. An ancient center of trade and crafts and one of the oldest cities in Central Asia. In 2002, Istaravshan celebrated its 2,500th anniversary. After the visit, we will continue our journey to Dushanbe where we will take a walk through Dusti Square, with the statue of Ismael Somoni, the founder of the Tadjika culture. Arrival and overnight at the hotel.

 

DAY 12 DUSHANBE

MEALS INCLUDED: BREAKFAST

Today during our visit we will see: the State Museum, Somoni Square and Park and the Central Market. We will also visit the Hissar Fortress, former residence of the governor of the Emir of Bukhara, one of the most famous monuments in Tajikistan, an old madrassa and the museum of antiquity, which preserves one of the largest Buddha statues of Nirvana. Return to the hotel.

 

 

DAY 13 DUSHANBE - PENJIKENT - JARTEPA – SAMARCANDA (UZBEKISTAN)

MEALS INCLUDED: BREAKFAST

After breakfast we will depart for Penjikent. In the afternoon we will visit the Rudaki Museum, founder of Persian classical poetry, known in the world as Abu-Abdullo Rudaki. We will visit the ruins and excavations of the ancient city Pendjikent (Sogdiana V-VIII), Ruins of Sarazm, 5500 years of civilization (UNESCO). Then we will head to the border to return to Uzbekistan. After border and immigration procedures, transfer to Samarkand, the "Pearl of the East" was conquered by Alexander the Great and later by Genghis Khan when it was almost annihilated. Arrival and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 14 SAMARCAND

MEALS INCLUDED: BREAKFAST

The city shone again when it was rebuilt by Amir Timur, the last of the great nomadic conquerors of Central Asia. This legendary and elegant city holds relics and treasures that were hidden for years from the rest of the world and protected with iron hands by the former USSR. Today in our city we will visit Registan Square, the heart of the old city, home to the magnificent Ullugbek Madrasas, Sher-Dor and the Tillya-Kari Mosque. We will stop at a traditional teahouse. Next we will visit the Bibi Khanim Mosque, shrouded in legends of passion and drama. We will see the Syob Bazaar, one of the largest on the ancient Silk Road, full of aromas, flavors and colors. And finally we will visit the Ulughbek Observatory (15th century). Return to the hotel.

DAY 15 SAMARCAND - BUKHARA

MEALS INCLUDED: BREAKFAST

After breakfast, we will depart by high-speed train to Bukhara. Arrival and overnight at the hotel. We will also visit the Bolo-Hauz Mosque (early 20th century) and the Ark Citadel (4th century BC), the oldest structure in the city. This was the residence of the emirs of Bukhara, occupied from the 5th century until 1920, when it was bombed by the Russian army. We will also visit the 14th-century Chashmai Ayub Mausoleum and Spring, also known as "Job's Fountain". It is a sacred place that is believed to have been visited by the prophet Job. Its waters are also believed to be pure and have healing properties. We will also visit the Poi Kalon Mosque (12th century), which is one of the largest in Central Asia, as well as the Miri Arab Madrasah, built in the time of Khan Ybaidulli, between 1530 and 1536. We will continue the visit to the Three Markets, a domed complex of the twelfth century, known as First, Second and Third Domes, which were joined by a large number of galleries that served as shops and workshops for artisans.

DAY 16 BUKHARA - KHIVA

MEALS INCLUDED: BREAKFAST

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Khiva via Kyzyl-Kum desert  along the Carvanas route (550 km, 8-9 hrs). Arrival and overnight at the hotel to rest.

 

DAY 17 KHIVA

MEALS INCLUDED: BREAKFAST

We start the visits at the Ichan-Kala architectural complex which is the inner citadel, important commercial center in medieval times on the Seda.Es Route World Heritage of Humanity since 1990.Es a well-preserved example of Muslim architecture in Central Asia.City tour in the Ichan-Kala architectural complex (12th-19th centuries): Kalta Minor, Kunya Ark Castle,  Mohammed Rahim Khan Madrasah, Minaret and Islom Khodja Madrasah; Tash Hovli Architectural Complex (19th century harem), Mausoleum of Pahlavan Mahmud (14th-18th centuries), Juma Mosque (10th century). Rest at the hotel.

DAY 18 KHIVA – URGENCH – KUNYA – DARWAZA (TURKMENISTAN)

MEALS INCLUDED: BREAKFAST, DINNER

In the morning after breakfast transfer to Turkmenistan border.

Meet the local Turkmenistan guide and continue the tour of Turkmenistan.

We will visit the historical site Kunya Urgench (UNESCO), sightseeing. Continue by car to the Shavat border post. In the afternoon transfer to Darwaza.

Arrive in the late afternoon, discover the crater of gas burned during the day and night. Set up camp. BBQ dinner and overnight in yurt.

DAY 19 DARWAZA – ASHGABAT

MEALS INCLUDED: BREAKFAST

After breakfast we leave for Ashgabat.Arrival in Ashgabat.

Visit the ruins of Anau City, the Ahalteke stables, the Ertogrul Ghazi Mosque and the panoramic viewpoint of the Wedding Palace.

Transfer to the hotel, Rest at the hotel.

 

DAY 20 ASHGABAT

MEALS INCLUDED: BREAKFAST

Visit of the city with visits to the Sunday Bazaar, Independence Park, Arch of Neutrality, National Museum, Nissa (UNESCO) and Turkmenbashi Mosque-Mausoleum.Rest at the hotel.

DAY 21 ASHGABAT
